The Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development (MLGRD), in collaboration with the SMART Zambia Institute, has conducted a User Acceptance Testing (UAT) exercise for the revised Cash for Work Management Information System (CFWMIS) in Lavushimanda District.

The UAT rollout exercise at Lavushimanda, Council Secretary, Jonas Mwendakawa described the CFWMIS as a critical tool for enhancing the implementation of the Cash for Work programme through improved efficiency, transparency, and accountability.

Mr Mwendakawa said the system is more than a technology platform, noting that it plays a key role in ensuring effective programme management and improved administration of beneficiary and project information.

The User Acceptance Testing rollout for the revised Cash for Work Management Information System is being conducted in all 116 local authorities across the country.
