Kafue District Commissioner Maurice Hikapulwe has expressed satisfaction with the progress of construction works on Shantumbu Road.

Mr Hikapulwe said the road had been a frequent complaint by residents in Chisakane Ward and witnessing government fulfill its promise is commendable.

“I recently visited Chisakane to appreciate the progress on the Shantumbu Road. I am happy with the progress, Shantumbu Road was the everyday cry of the people of Chisakane and seeing where we are now reaffirms government’s commitment to development,” he said.

Mr Hikapulwe added that residents are appreciative that government has responded to their concerns through the ongoing road project.
