Chisamba District Commissioner Joel Mboyoma has issued a 14-day ultimatum for camp agricultural extension officers to immediately relocate to their duty stations.

Mr Mboyoma notes that the absenteeism of certain camp officers from their work stations was depriving citizens of the necessary government services to bolster agricultural production.

The DC made the remarks in Chisamba during a senior management meeting with all heads of government departments at his office.

“We are directing the camp officers through you to shift immediately to their camps. CS here is also squatting, I’m squatting, I think almost everybody. We are supposed to be where we are working from.

“For now there should be no compromise or excuse. From here we expect you DACO to make sure that within two weeks, camp officers are at their camps,” Mr Mboyoma said.
