PRESIDENT HICHILEMA URGES ZAMBIANS TO STRENGTHEN FAMILY BONDS

President Hakainde Hichilema has urged Zambians to strengthen family bonds and raise children to become good citizens of the country.
Speaking at the Midlands West Conference Big Sabbath Festival of the Laity held at National Heroes Stadium in Lusaka today, President Hichilema said proper child upbringing gives the country a chance to succeed.
The Head of State urged parents to support children especially in their infancy to raise good church members and citizens of the country.
President Hichilema also called on congregants to use their gifts to serve others and to strengthen family bonds.
He emphasised stewardship, reminding the gathering that personal endowments are meant for service.
President Hichilema urged worshippers to render support to each other and help them fulfill their talents.
He commended the conference organisers and the church for honoring members and non-members for community service, including philanthropic work, health service delivery and helping those in need.
President Hichilema was given a special recognition by the church for his exceptional support to the church while in public service.
Meanwhile, Delivering the homily, Southern Africa-Indian Ocean Division Ministerial Secretary Pastor Passmore Mulambo, centered his message on John 3:16, titled Love Beyond Measure.
