CHIPOLOPOLO, ARGENTINA CLASH, A HIGH- LEVEL LITMUS TEST – SOCCER ANALYST

Soccer Analyst, Chizengu Lukama, has described the Chipolopolo friendly against Argentina as a high-level litmus test that the team can use to build confidence in future games.

Lukama further describes the 5-0 game as a fair result for the Zambian team especially that they were playing at a high level, and has commended the coach for giving an opportunity to new players to showcase their abilities.

He observes that pairing the first three at the back with some inexperienced players except for Tinkler Sinkala, who is already experienced, exposed the team and gave an opportunity to Argentina to score more goals.

In an interview with ZANIS, Lukama expressed his discontent in the midfield, which he attributed to having been due to the fact that some players were playing with each other for the first time, which may have affected coordination.

Despite the loss, Lukama noted that the combination can form a formidable team if highlighted mistakes are worked on, especially that the team was able to exchange a few passes despite it being a challenging game.

Chipolopolo Interim Head Coach, George Lwandamina, attributed the loss to the team conceding within the first three minutes.

Lwandamina, has however expressed confidence in creating a highly tactical team from such experiences.
