NFNC MOVES TO THE VICE PRESIDENT’S OFFICE

THE National Food and Nutrition Commission (NFNC) is transitioning from the Ministry of Health to the Office of the Vice President to enhance service delivery.

NFNC Executive Director Muntanga Kampengele says the move is aimed at allowing the Commission to coordinate different sectors in a more effective and coordinated manner.

Dr Kampengele stated that the Commission will continue working with various stakeholders to reduce stunting among children from 32 percent to 15 percent across the country.

Dr Kampengele was speaking when her delegation paid a courtesy call on Central Province Deputy Permanent Secretary Godfrey Chitambala in Kabwe.

And Central Province Deputy Permanent Secretary Godfrey Chitambala noted that the Provincial Administration remains committed to working with the National Food and Nutrition Commission in reducing stunting in the province.
