CHITAMBO TEACHERS COMMENDED FOR IMPROVED EXAMINATION PERFORMANCE.

Central Province Education Officer, Mambe Hamududu, has commended teachers in Chitambo District for their hard work and dedication to duty, which has contributed to improved examination performance in the area.

Speaking at the official opening of the Chitambo Teachers’ Resource Center at Mukando Primary School, Ms Hamududu praised teachers for their commitment and sacrifice, noting that despite operating in a challenging environment, the district continues to rank among the top-performing in the province.

Ms Hamududu disclosed that Chitambo ranked third in the region in the Grade 7 examinations and fourth at Grade 9 level, attributing the achievement to the tireless efforts of teachers.

“It is because of your hard work, without you our teachers, we would not have achieved this performance,” she said.

Ms Hamududu further expressed optimism that the district had also performed well in the Grade 12 examinations although the overall results were yet to be released.
