1,875 YOUTHS IN SOLWEZI AND KASEMPA TO BE TRAINED IN DIGITAL SKILLS

A total of 1,875 youths from Solwezi and Kasempa Districts in North-Western Province are set to receive training in digital skills under the Going Beyond project.

The initiative is led by the Charity Centre for Children and Youth Development (CCCYD) in partnership with the Digital Opportunity Trust (DOT) and supported by the Mastercard Foundation.

It aims to equip young people with digital, entrepreneurial, and life skills, empowering them to succeed and thrive in today’s competitive environment.

Speaking during a courtesy call on Provincial Secretary colonel Grandson Katambi Retired, CCCYD Founder Alex Bwaluka noted that the project will ensure a community driven learning that is relevant, inclusive, and sustainable.

“This initiative is designed to empower young people, particularly young women, with essential digital, entrepreneurial and life skills required to thrive in today’s evolving socio-economic environment,” he said.
