President Hakainde Hichilema says the government has directed the contractor working on the Lusaka-Ndola Dual Carriageway to also work on township roads in Kabwe.<\/p>\n
And President Hichilema has expressed concern at the slow pace the contractor is working on the Lusaka-Ndola Dual Carriageway.<\/p>\n
The Head of State has since assured the people of Kabwe that he will engage the contractor on the need to speed up the works.<\/p>\n
Speaking when he addressed a multitude of Kabwe residents, President Hichilema urged the people to vote for the United Party for National Development (UPND) and its candidates participating in the August 13, General Elections.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe have included Kabwe township roads in the construction of the Lusaka-Ndola Dual Carriageway, the contractor is moving slowly, but from today, I will tell them to speed up the works,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
And President Hichilema has assured the people of Makululu compound that the government will address the water challenges facing the people.<\/p>\n
He said the people of Makululu need better water reticulation, which the government will deliver, including the creation of more jobs.<\/p>\n
The Head of State explained that the government has managed to restructure the country\u2019s economy, which will allow the government to create more jobs.<\/p>\n
