Kafue District Commissioner Maurice Hikapulwe has expressed satisfaction with the progress of construction works on Shantumbu Road.<\/p>\n
Mr Hikapulwe said the road had been a frequent complaint by residents in Chisakane Ward and witnessing government fulfill its promise is commendable.<\/p>\n
\u201cI recently visited Chisakane to appreciate the progress on the Shantumbu Road. I am happy with the progress, Shantumbu Road was the everyday cry of the people of Chisakane and seeing where we are now reaffirms government’s commitment to development,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Mr Hikapulwe added that residents are appreciative that government has responded to their concerns through the ongoing road project.<\/p>\n
