North-Western Province Permanent Secretary Col. Grandson Katambi (retired) has commended Kansanshi Mining Plc, in partnership with SNV, for hosting a business clinic aimed at supporting local enterprise growth.<\/p>\n
Speaking during the event in Solwezi, Col. Katambi said the initiative will empower local businesses to participate meaningfully in the province\u2019s economic development.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis compliance business clinic has been designed to address one of the key barriers facing mainly micro, small and medium enterprises across the province,\u201d he said,<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Kansanshi Foundation Manager Simon Keeval said the mining company continues to build a strong local business community capable of competing in the global market through partnerships with SNV and government departments.<\/p>\n
And SNV Programmes Manager Betty Phiri added that the organisation aims to empower at least 2,400 young people in Solwezi with entrepreneurial and digital agribusiness skills.<\/p>\n
