The construction of a mortuary at Ngwerere Health Centre in Kapwayambale Ward of Chongwe District has advanced.<\/p>\n
The facility, which is being constructed at a cost of K992,000, through the Constituency Development Fund (CDF), is expected to reduce transportation costs incurred by residents in the ward as well as some surrounding communities.<\/p>\n
Ngwerere Health Centre-in-Charge, Kennedy Mulenga said the mortuary will meet the demand for the much needed services in the area.<\/p>\n
Mr Mulenga said the health facility services a large catchment population which accesses the services from other health facilities located in Lusaka District.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Chongwe Municipal Council Town Clerk, Damson Mukwato, said the Chongwe CDF Committee prioritised the allocation of funds towards the construction of the facility.<\/p>\n
