The Zambian government has reaffirmed its commitment to deepen bilateral partnership with the United States (US) government.<\/p>\n
Secretary to the Cabinet Patrick Kangwa says government remains committed to expanding trade relations, investment and further strengthening the existing people-to-people bilateral ties with the United States.<\/p>\n
Speaking last evening when he graced the 250th Independence Day of the United States of America, Mr Kangwa reaffirmed Zambia\u2019s commitment to building stronger bilateral relations with the United States government.<\/p>\n
\u201cAs we look ahead, we remain committed to deepening this partnership through enhanced dialogue, expanded trade, and investment, and strengthening people-to-people ties.<\/p>\n
We wish to reaffirm Zambia’s commitment to strengthening its relations with the United States of America.\u00a0 I am confident that these relations will continue to grow from strength to strength for the benefit of our two peoples,\u201d Mr Kangwa said.<\/p>\n
And speaking earlier, the United States (US) charg\u00e9 d’Affaires, Mich Coker, said Zambia and the US have built a strong partnership based on shared values and shared interests.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe’ve built a partnership based on shared values and shared interests. The United States and Zambia share so many values and interests that our partnership is natural.\u201d Mr Coker stated.<\/p>\n
