Residents in Kasama District of Northern Province, have appealed to Kasama Municipal Council to find a permanent solution to pot holes\u00a0which keep developing along the airport road near radio Mano junction.<\/p>\n
Joseph Katowa, says every year the council spends huge sums of money to mend the potholes at the same section, hence the need to find a lasting solution to the problem.<\/p>\n
Mr Katowa has called on the council to engage engineers to find a permanent solution which will also help save money.<\/p>\n
He stated that if engineers from the council have failed to resolve the challenge, they should involve Road Development Agency engineers to help address the situation.<\/p>\n
“This spot has become dangerous now, cars are being damaged, and there are several other places in the Central Business District which have developed potholes which are now posing a danger to road users,” he observed.<\/p>\n
