{"id":3468,"date":"2026-04-13T18:45:00","date_gmt":"2026-04-13T16:45:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.zanis.gov.zm\/?p=3468"},"modified":"2026-04-13T18:47:10","modified_gmt":"2026-04-13T16:47:10","slug":"ali-beneficiaries-urged-to-use-support-responsibly","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.zanis.gov.zm\/?p=3468","title":{"rendered":"ALI BENEFICIARIES URGED TO USE SUPPORT RESPONSIBLY"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">MBALA Mayor Mulenga Sinyangwe has urged beneficiaries of the Alternative Livelihood Intervention (ALI) programme in Mbala District to utilise the support responsibly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Mr Sinyangwe has observed that it was important that beneficiaries of programme used the support prudently if they were to improve their livelihoods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Speaking during the distribution of goats at Kawimbe School in Kawimbe Ward, Mr Sinyangwe said the initiative was a key investment aimed at uplifting vulnerable but viable households.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\u201cThis occasion is not just about the distribution of animals, but a vital investment in the livelihoods of our beneficiaries, I call upon beneficiaries to ultilise the support well for their benefit,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">He noted that the alternative livelihood programme, under the Ministry of Community Development and Social Services, was designed to mitigate poverty, enhance household nutrition, and promote sustainable income-generating activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">And Mbala District Community Development Officer, Theresa Nsakashalo disclosed that a total of 60 beneficiaries had been selected under the programme, with 30 coming from the Isofu Community Welfare Assistance Committee (CWAC).   <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MBALA Mayor Mulenga Sinyangwe has urged beneficiaries of the Alternative Livelihood Intervention (ALI) programme in Mbala District to utilise the support responsibly.
