Youths in Northwestern Province have hailed President Hakainde Hichilema\u2019s visit to Solwezi District to grace the National Youth Day commemoration under the theme\u00a0\u201cRise and Soar.\u201d<\/p>\n
Speaking in an exclusive interview with ZANIS in Solwezi , John Kimba who walked from Solwezi to Lusaka, to promote peace and unity, said the visit presents an important opportunity to highlight key challenges affecting young people in the province.<\/p>\n
Mr Kimba said youths are hopeful the President will address issues such as the need for a university in Northwestern Province, improved access to funding for youth-led businesses, better road infrastructure, and increased employment opportunities, especially in the mining sector.<\/p>\n
He added that young people are also calling for greater participation in decision-making processes to ensure their voices contribute to national development.<\/p>\n
