Father Sihubwa says President Hichilema should be supported by the church as well as all well-meaning Zambians.<\/p>\n
Last week, President Hichilema addressed the nation in Parliament on the progress made in the application of values and principles.<\/p>\n
Fr. Sihubwa, who highlighted\u00a0achievements in free education, health, corruption, and the mining sector scored by President Hichilema\u2019s administration, called for patience and moral discipline as the country pursues long\u2011term development.<\/p>\n
The Lusaka-based clergyman said this last evening on ZNBC’s Sunday Interview programme.<\/p>\n
Fr. Sihubwa further implored the church to pray for the Head of State as well as government officials for guidance and wisdom ahead of the August general elections.<\/p>\n
He noted that the government\u2019s free\u2011education initiative is a\u00a0tangible expression of national values.<\/p>\n
\u201cGovernment should be commended on free education that is transforming lives.\u00a0The policy reflects commitments to tackling human dignity, equity, social justice, equality, and non\u2011discrimination,” he said.<\/p>\n
