{"id":2453,"date":"2026-02-09T23:49:51","date_gmt":"2026-02-09T21:49:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.zanis.gov.zm\/?p=2453"},"modified":"2026-02-09T23:49:51","modified_gmt":"2026-02-09T21:49:51","slug":"kwacha-gains-spur-economic-growth-mulenga","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.zanis.gov.zm\/?p=2453","title":{"rendered":"KWACHA GAINS SPUR ECONOMIC GROWTH -MULENGA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Government has hailed the continued appreciation of the kwacha against the US dollar as a positive step toward economic growth, improved trade, and enhanced consumer welfare.<\/p>\n<p>Minister of Commerce, Trade and Industry, Chipoka Mulenga, said the currency\u2019s stability is expected to lower inflation and create a better business environment.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Mulenga urged traders and businesses to pass on the benefits to consumers by reducing prices of goods and services to ease the cost of living.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Kwacha is stronger.
