Paramount Chief Chitimukulu says he has come to terms with the passing of his wife and remains strong.<\/p>\n

The traditional leader has stated that coming to accept the loss of his wife will help him cope with life.<\/p>\n

ZANIS reports that the Mwinelubemba said this when a team of senior government officials led by Minister of Technology and Science, Felix Mutati, visited him at the palace to mourn with him.<\/p>\n

He said the visit demonstrates that the government is mourning with him, noting that mourning in isolation can be traumatising.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the Paramount Chief has emphasised the importance of unity, and encouraged people to learn from his experience by supporting one another during such a time.<\/p>\n

\u201cFrom the death of my wife, I can see that maybe there is something I need to learn from my life. It\u2019s 12 months from the time I lost my two sons and now my wife,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

The traditional leader further expressed gratitude to the government and all the people including organisations that have sent messages of condolences to him.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Mr Mutati assured Paramount Chief Chitimukulu and his family of full government support throughout the mourning period.<\/p>\n

Mr Mutati also delivered a message of sympathy and solidarity on behalf of the government.<\/p>\n

He encouraged the traditional leader not to forget God during this period.<\/p>\n
