color: #222222;\">Speaking when a delegation of investors from Europe paid a courtesy call on him at State House today, the Head of State said the reforms implemented by the government have helped to open up the energy space for investments.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"background: white; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; orphans: 2; text-align: start; widows: 2; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; text-decoration-thickness: initial; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial; background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial; word-spacing: 0px;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: #222222;\">Mr Hichilema added that the reforms in the energy sector have opened up opportunities not only for power generation but transmission also.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"background: white; color: #222222;\">Meanwhile, the head of delegation, Jan Traeckner,\u00a0said his team is ready to invest in Zambia and help the country address the power deficit in order to grow the country\u2019s economy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; color: #222222;\">And speaking earlier, Minister of Energy, Makozo Chikote, informed President Hichilema that the investors have expressed interest to invest in energy using coal, which is readily available in Zambia.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"background: white;
