President Hakainde Hichilema has revealed plans to set up a University Teaching Hospital in Solwezi district in North-western Province.
President Hichilema says the government also has plans to construct a University in Solwezi in order to ensure inclusive access to education for all Zambians.
The President noted that the government has scored many achievements in the last four years, which are aimed at reviving the economy of the country and improving the living standards of Zambians.
The Head of State said this during a community engagement in Solwezi today.
Earlier, United National Independence Party (UNIP) leader, Henry Miyoba commended President Hichilema for his pro-poor policies such as the empowerment of youth in small scale mining.
