KAWAMBWA Town Council Chairperson Titus Musa says the announcement of Luongo as a new constituency in Kawambwa District is expected to speed up development especially in the remote parts of the district.

Speaking during a full Council meeting held today, Mr Musa noted that the creation of the new constituency will enhance service delivery and bring government closer to the people.

He explained that the addition of Luongo constituency will ensure that previously underserved communities will begin to benefit from increased attention and resources.

Mr Musa said the district will now grow at a faster rate as development efforts will be more evenly distributed.

“With the creation of the new constituency, representation has been amplified. This means more voices will be heard and more needs will be addressed,” he said.
