The Western Water Supply and Sanitation Company Limited (WWSSC) has unveiled a six million US Dollars project aimed to overhaul water service delivery in the province.

Speaking at the commissioning of the project, WWSSC Managing Director Engineer Mufalo Kabika advised the 17 member integrity committee to uphold all the tenets of integrity as they dispense the work.

A representative of the Anti Corruption Commission Musompa Kameya assured the public of transparency during the five year implementation period of the project.

Ms Kameya said the mandate of the commission is to set up integrity committees in various institutions that will help monitor the smooth operations of projects.

She added that the integrity committee will focus on submitting the reports to the commission for transparency purposes.

The project is funded by the World Bank under the performance for results program.
