Government in collaboration with MTN Zambia has commissioned a network tower in Sinda District of Eastern Province, a project implemented in partnership with the Zambia Information and Communications Technology Authority (ZICTA).

It is expected to service about 18, 686 people, 18 schools, and 3 health centres.
Speaking during the launch, Minister of Technology and Science, Felix Mutati reaffirmed government’s commitment to ensuring connectivity for every Zambian.

Mr Mutati noted that network towers were a fundamental infrastructure that ensures easy and speedy communication channels.
